Lincoln, NE - Diamond Vogel Paints of Orange City, Iowa and Four Seasons Paint of Lincoln, Nebraska announced today that they have entered into an agreement in which Diamond Vogel will acquire Four Seasons. Four Seasons Paint has been a provider of industrial coatings and service in the six state region for over 25 years.
Diamond Vogel president and CEO, Drew Vogel, indicated that the acquisition will compliment the company's commitment to expand its industrial coatings business, as well as provide needed additional production capacity for Van Sickle Paint, a Vogel company subsidiary operation also based in Lincoln, Nebraska. Al Williams, Vice President of Sales for Four Seasons, who will continue with the organization as Regional Sales Manager, said, "The Diamond Vogel connection provides for an expanded product line including powder coatings to grow with our current customers." Mark Vogel, who heads Diamond Vogel's industrial coatings business commented "Diamond Vogel looks forward to maintaining the close customer relationships that Four Seasons has established in the region, built on excellent service and flexible manufacturing in Lincoln, NE."
Diamond Vogel, founded in 1926 by Andrew Vogel, produces architectural and industrial coatings under the trade names of Diamond Vogel Paint, Van Sickle Paint and Old Masters Wood Finishes. The Four Seasons acquisition is expected to be completed by mid-March, and follows a recent acquisition in December 2003 by Vogel of the Western Division of Davis-Frost Paints of Lynchburg, Virginia. Diamond Vogel Paints is an ISO9001:2000 certified company.
