First factory built on SE side of Orange City. Moved in during the fall of 1947.
The Vogel Paint label was introduced moving away from Orange Brand.
Fire destroys the factory. New plant is constructed at 1090 Albany Place SE and opens in 1965.
Purchased Diamond Product Manufacturing in Marshalltown.
Combined the Vogel and Diamond labels creating the brand Diamond Vogel.
Purchased Old Masters from Darworth Inc.
Purchased Van Sickle Paint Manufacturing in Lincoln, NE.
Purchased Komac Paint Company expanding our footprint in Colorado.
Introduced a new corporate logo.
New office building addition added to the Orange City factory.
Permacryl's low spatter formula changes the market.
Paint-A-Thon volunteer house painting events begin.
Stratum primer used the same part B as the polyurethane topcoat.
The new Corporate Support Center opens to better serve our customers and employees.
The first commerical sale of powder coating products takes place.
In partnership with Keep Iowa Beautiful, Paint Iowa Beautiful begins.
Jeff Powell is named the first non-family president.
Jeff Powell is named CEO and president of Diamond Vogel.
The company expands its capabilities with the purchase of an aerosol plant in Menomonee Falls, WI.
