Responsibilities and Skills:
- Managing assigned inventory parts and supplier portfolio ensuring transparency of spending; managing inventory levels within assigned portfolio
- Issuing purchase orders and resolving quality issues with authorized suppliers
- Analyzing and calculating costs of procurement; suggesting methods to optimize spending and minimize risks
- Prioritizing daily workflow to maximize efficiency of production operations—managing personal, team, and corporate KPIs to meet company profitability targets
- Interacting with external key suppliers and stakeholders as well as cross-functional internal teams
- Ability to develop data models from scratch and translate indiscrete data
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Finance
- 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing or relevant supply chain role
- Experience using MRP to support supply chain activities; experience using ERP software in a discrete manufacturing environment
- Advanced knowledge of data management software (MS Access, MS Excel, Tableau); intermediate knowledge of standard business software (MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
The pay range for this position is $50,000 to $60,000 per year.
