Diamond Vogel has a current, full-time opening for a talented Demand Planner to support our aerosol operation and distribution in Menomonee Falls, WI. Other sites to support at various times include Sheboygan Falls and Germantown. This position will report to our Supply Chain Manager and assist in all demand planning duties including: estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models. This position will be based in Menomonee Falls, WI, with occasional travel to Sheboygan Falls, WI.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market insights, and customer trends.
Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Production to align forecasts with business goals.
Monitor forecast accuracy and continuously refine models for better performance.
Analyze inventory flow to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
Support SIOP (Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning) through data-driven insights.
Identify demand risks and opportunities and proactively communicate them to stakeholders.
Utilize ERP and forecasting tools to execute planning activities efficiently.
Prepare reports and dashboards to inform senior management decisions.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Statistics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management — manufacturing experience preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and forecasting software.
Knowledge of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics best practices.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with product lifecycles, seasonality, and customer behavior trends.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in paint, coatings, or chemical manufacturing.
Exposure to Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Understanding of regulatory and safety standards in the coatings industry.
Experience implementing or optimizing SIOP processes.
