Diamond Vogel is seeking a Lab Technician to join our Research & Development team. This position provides hands-on support in developing top-quality paint products for our various marketplaces. The Lab Technician will work closely with R&D personnel in a professional laboratory environment and receive on-the-job training to build technical, analytical, and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare samples of new formulas and assist with color matching
- Perform routine physical and analytical tests with minimal supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory work area
- Accurately record test results, observations, and experimental data
- Communicate findings, test procedures, and related data to team members
- Support R&D personnel in day-to-day laboratory activities
- Learn and apply laboratory testing methods, equipment, and software
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Self-starter with an inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn
- Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required; training provided
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records
