Diamond Vogel is seeking motivated and dependable Production Team Members to join our 2nd shift Powder Coatings Production team at our Peridium Powder Plant in Orange City, IA. This role supports the manufacturing of high-quality dry powder coatings using premix, extruding, and grinding equipment in a clean, air-conditioned, state-of-the-art facility.
This is a hands-on production role ideal for individuals who enjoy working with equipment, learning new processes, and contributing to a team-focused manufacturing environment.
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 4:00 AM (42–45 hours/week)
Responsibilities
- Operate and support powder coatings production equipment, including premix, extruding, and grinding systems
- Monitor processes to ensure product quality, consistency, and safety standards are met
- Perform basic equipment checks and assist with troubleshooting production issues
- Accurately follow work instructions, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Communicate effectively with teammates and supervisors regarding production needs
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude or understanding of industrial equipment
- Willingness to learn, solve problems, and take initiative
- Basic math skills and the ability to communicate clearly
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a team environment
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
