Diamond Vogel has a full-time Product Manager position available in Orange City, Iowa. The Product Manager is responsible for leading the organization in product strategies and plans to deliver overall company strategy and goals. The Product Manager leads product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle, and they report to the Strategic Product Manager.
Accountabilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
Assists in defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for cross-functional business partners
Serves as a customer advocate, articulating the user’s and/or buyer’s needs; gathers, manages, and prioritizes customer insights
Partners with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction goals are achievable, bringing a customer opportunity from concept to commercialization
Engages in market analysis and competitive research in determining product line gaps; stays current on market trends and new product research
Works alongside the Product Development Team in developing new products and improving existing products, managing products and associated activities in each phase of the product lifecycle
Supports sales and business unit leaders to develop strategic business plans connecting product strategies
Builds and communicates monthly reports that inform management of project priorities
Develops dashboards and KPIs to communicate product portfolio business results and variances
Works with manufacturing and supply chain to understand product forecasts, streamlining portfolios to optimize inventory, lead times, and on-time delivery
Skills, Qualifications, and Education:
- Zero to three years of Product Management or related work experience is desired, a willingness to learn and be trained is essential
Must possess a BA or BS Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Possessing industrial coatings product knowledge is a plus
Able to lead and influence others with a diligent change management mindset
Organized and efficient at handling multiple tasks simultaneously; possesses excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Shows fluency in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, and Zoom
Must be able to travel 15% of the time and have a valid driver’s license
