Diamond Vogel is seeking a full-time Chemist to join the Research and Development Team in Orange City, Iowa. This position will be given on-the-job training to achieve the following responsibilities:
Hands-On Skills: Prepare samples of new formulas and color matching, perform routine physical and analytical tests with minimum supervision, and maintain a clean work area.
Computer Skills: Maintain accurate records of test results and observations.
Communication Skills: Communicate observations, test procedures, and related data, both verbally and in written form, with team members.
Skills and Education:
- A detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills, able to work well both individually and in a team environment.
- A self-starter, showing an inquisitive attitude.
- Ability to interact with Salespersons and Customers during product development.
- Previous lab experience matching color and metallic shades is helpful, but not required.
- Possesses a science-related Bachelor’s degree, such as a degree in Chemistry.
