Responsibilities and Duties:
Pick customer orders accurately and print the proper paperwork to go with those pallets.
Unload and load trailers as needed, verify these loads, and document any damage or mis-shipment claims on incoming loads.
Must pass forklift certification for all warehouse equipment.
Complete daily equipment inspection before the shift using the Infolink system on our equipment.
Ensure all safety and company rules are followed; including, but not limited to; wearing proper PPE, lifting procedure, equipment safety, smoking policy, etc.
Move inventory into correct locations and record these moves in our system to ensure accuracy for inventory control and picking.
Work area must be cleaned and picked up after every shift. Other housekeeping duties as assigned.
Help with inventory control, assist with year-end and daily cycle counts when needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and training desired: High School graduate, previous material handling experience required. Experience using a narrow aisle Bendi Forklift helpful. Starting pay is based on experience. Able to pull, carry or lift 50 pounds frequently and 50-100 pounds occasionally with or without reasonable accommodation.
This position is for 1st shift Monday through Friday.
