Diamond Vogel is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our Powder Production team in Orange City, IA. This role plays an important part in ensuring product quality by performing routine testing of raw materials and finished goods in direct support of production operations.
The ideal candidate has a strong attention to detail, a keen eye for color, and enjoys working in a hands-on, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine testing of raw materials and finished goods with minimal supervision
- Evaluate and adjust color to meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of test results and samples
- Enter data into computer systems in a timely and accurate manner
- Communicate observations, test procedures, and results clearly with team members
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail, especially with color evaluation
- Ability to follow procedures and work independently
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
