Diamond Vogel is seeking a Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations at our facility in Menomonee Falls, WI. This hands-on role is responsible for safely moving, tracking, and organizing raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse while supporting inventory accuracy and production flow.
This position plays a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate material tracking, and upholding safety standards across the facility.
This position works 1st shift, Monday–Thursday from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with overtime opportunities on Fridays based on business needs.
What you’ll do
- Operate industrial forklifts to transport raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse
- Accurately record material movements and purchase order receipts using RF scanning and warehouse systems (QAD)
- Load and unload materials to and from designated storage and production areas
- Print and apply labels for inventory tracking and organization
- Assist with inventory control, including cycle counts and year-end inventory activities
- Perform routine equipment tasks such as recharging batteries, changing propane tanks, and maintaining battery cells
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow all safety procedures and report hazards or unsafe conditions to leadership
- Support overall warehouse and production operations as needed
What we’re looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous material handling experience required, including both stand-up and sit-down forklift operation
- Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain certification on the job)
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse systems preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work effectively in a team environment
